Dear Alison,
When we were planning our #AtoZChallenge, I was assigned the Letter "I." I couldn't think of an author with "I" in his or her name off the top of my head. I remember you looking at me in wide-eyed disbelief and said, "INKSpell Publishing," and a light bulb went off.
The talent at INKSpell Publishing blew me away. I browsed their site and tabbed through the various authors. I decided to focus on their Young Adult authors with recent books or books coming out in the near future. (You might recognize one of them;)
Kristy Centeno
Kristy Centeno is the author of the Secrets of the Moon saga and Keeper Witches series.
She has always had a passion for books and after years of being an avid reader, she decided to transform her desire to write into a reality and thus, her first novel was born. When she’s not busy taking care of her five children or holding down the fort, she finds time to sit and do what she loves the most: writing.

Most of the ghosts look like fuzzy blobs, but one is not blobby at all. He's a very hot, very annoying dead guy named Nick. Although they dislike each other on sight, Nick soon realizes Lily is his only hope. With the help of Zoe and Mr. Wan, the manicurist who almost killed her, she has only days to get Nick and the other ghosts back where they belong or the whole world will be in terrible danger.
But sending the ghosts back means saying goodbye to Nick forever, and Lily isn't sure she'll ever be able to let him go.
Wende has another recent YA release too...

About the Book
The world is about to be cloaked in darkness. Only one can stop the night.

That is until a beautiful girl, one who has haunted his dreams for the past eleven years of his life, shows up spinning tales of a prophecy. Not just any old prophecy either, but one in which Kellen plays a key role.
Suddenly, Kellen finds himself on the run through a Celtic underworld of faeries and demons, angels and gods, not to mention a really ticked off pack of hellhounds, all in order to save the world from darkness. But will they make it in time?

CATHERINE STINE:
I write young adult novels as Catherine Stine, and new adult romance as Kitsy Clare. More and more, I enjoy writing page-turning suspense and paranormal tales, though my romance titles are mostly contemporary, realistic settings. Go figure!
I’m proud to report my Fireseed sci-fi romance series, which includes Fireseed One and Ruby’s Fire hit the Amazon bestseller lists this summer. They are also each indie award winners (USA News International and Next Gen. indies). I’m one proud book mama!
I occasionally teach creative writing workshops, specializing in Crafting the Novel and Writing Speculative Fiction. Check out my events page for my upcoming workshops.
Over the years, I’ve held an array of colorful jobs, including a stint as a sail-maker, a solar-heated swimming pool cover designer, and as a designer of children’s fabrics and watch faces. I’ve illustrated books for Penguin-Perigee, Learning Strategies, Lantern Books, and I illustrated my Fireseed novels. Writing is the best job ever! There’s nothing as alluring as creating a new world brimming with feisty, unpredictable characters who are getting into dreadful trouble and falling in love with each other all over the place! And it’s wicked fun to inject jarring twists and turns that no one sees coming.

Here's another INKSpell Publishing YA Author. She sounds awfully familiar...
KIM BRIGGS
Kim once smashed into a tree while skiing. The accident led to a concussion, a cracked sternum, temporary notoriety as a sixth grader returned from the dead, and the realization that fictionalized accounts are way more interesting than just slipping on the ice.
An unhealthy obsession with conspiracy theories combined with a love of travel and happily ever afters led Kim to write her YA novel, Starr Fall, where a secret organization decides 17 year old Starr Bishop is not only the model student, but the ideal assassin. While in hiding, Starr meets dark, moody, and dead sexy Christian Evergood. Cue the swoon worthy music. But it’s not all happily ever afters for Kim. Her NA novel, And Then He, explores the dark and scary corners of the human psyche. Following a night of innocent flirting with a handsome stranger, Tiffani finds herself in the midst of a nightmare she can’t escape. And Then He is available now through Amazon and other major book retailers. Starr Fall will debut November 2016 with Inkspell Publishing.
When she’s not doing something writerly, Kim can be found jumping into snow drifts with her three kids, husband, and dog. She’s careful to avoid trees.
