Love is in the Air...
It's February, the month of love and romance and snow. Yep, that's right, snow. If you live along the east coast, you have more than your fair share of the white stuff. Me? I love it. We ski, snowshoe, cross country ski, ice skate, snowmobile, sled--if it's a snow sport, my family wants in, but all these snow days throw a monkey wrench into my writing routine. I need a quiet place away from it all.
But instead, I romp around in the snow and drink hot chocolate and eat chips and dip, and then, when the kids go to bed and my hubby falls asleep, I sneak back down to my quiet writing nook and let the voices in my head come out and play. Gosh, that sounds creepy.
I love my days with my family and my nights with my laptop.
How do you cope with snow days?
Write on,
Kim

But the kids, the dog, the cats, the turtles (well, they're ok), the husband...Yeah, he's home every snow day too, makes creative writing time during the day IMPOSSIBLE!
I could get mad. I could get angry...
